Nearly every soup, stew, or tomato sauce has this herb added to it.  Now that it is coming to cold weather, the soups and stews will abound.  Be sure to toss in a bay leaf, and just before you serve, remove it.  We have a game at my house.  Who ever finds the bay leaf in their bowl is special for that day.  Add a bay leaf to the water when cooking beans, lentils, rice or other grains.  Rub skin and cavity of a chicken with salt, then put 2 bay leaves in side before roasting.  Using this herb will enrich every meal.  Thats it for now.
